Meet the Clinical Staff
Jennifer D'Abreau, D.O.
Dr. D’Abreau, the Interim Chief University Physician at University Health Services, has practiced at UHS since 2001. She received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. D’Abreau completed her undergraduate studies at Alma College in Alma, Michigan, with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She has faculty appointments at Northeast Ohio Medical University, Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She serves on the KSU Institutional Review Board and adjunct faculty for KSU’s College of Nursing.
In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
James Fuduric, M.D.
Dr. Fuduric joined University Health Services in 2007 after 31 years in private practice. He completed his undergraduate studies in zoology at Ohio University and received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. Dr. Fuduric, who is Board Certified in Pediatrics, also currently practices at a local urgent care center. He lives in Strongsville with his wife Margaret. His hobbies include cooking, reading, running, biking and spending time with their eleven grandchildren.
LISA DANNEMILLER, M.D.
Dr. Lisa Dannemiller is a board certified internist with 20 years of service to the local communities and hospitals. She has practiced medicine at KSU UHS since 2012. Dr. Dannemiller recieved her B.S. Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University. She is a licensed pharmacist. She also recieved her medical degree from The Ohio State University. Her internal medicine residency was completed at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Besides providing medical care to the Kent State Community, Dr. Dannemiller enjoys gardening, travelling and spending time with family, friends and her Golden Retriever.
ADEL HANNA M.D.
Dr. Hanna, Board Certified in Family Medicine, has worked many years in private and group practices, in addition to few years in providing medical care to soldiers and veterans. He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Cincinnati, his Doctorate of Medicine from Wright State University School of Medicine in Ohio, and completed his specialization in Family Medicine at the University of Minnesota, St. John’s hospital. Dr. Hanna is fluent in both English and Arabic, and is a published author and blogger. His interests include outdoor and nature walking, exercising, travelling, time with family, health education, preventive medicine, reading, star bucks, meditation and spiritual pursuit ( not necessarily in that order).
HOLLY ALLISON, MSN, ANP-BC
Holly is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who joined University Health services in July 2013. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kent State University and Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. She is certified as both an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
KRISTEN BARATH, MSN, CFNP
Kristen joined University Health Services in 2013 after working in the Stow-Kent area for several years. She is a Board Certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. Kristen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron. Her interests include reading, cooking, and fitness, and she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
Women's Health Services
Kim Myford, MSN, WHNP
Kim is a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health. She has been in nursing for over 16 years and has worked in the Women's Clinic at UHS since 2007. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walsh University, Kim received her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her two children.
Alison Prudoff, MSN, WHNP
Alison, a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health, has worked in the Women's Clinic at University Health Services since 2009. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walsh University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and exercising.
Susan Bereck, RPh
Susan joined University Health Services in 2015. She is a pharmacist that has worked in the retail sector in the Cleveland area for several years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and is certified to give immunizations and to provide MTM services in the State of Ohio. She enjoys cycling, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Laura Damicone, RPh
Laura is the Chief Pharmacist at UHS. Laura has been a pharmacist at University Health Services since 2005. She is an alumnus of The Ohio State College of Pharmacy and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Northeast Ohio Medical University. She is a member of the Ohio Pharmacists Association, The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy Alumni Association and is certified to give immunizations in the State of Ohio. She enjoys art, reading and watching KSU sporting events.
Pamela Farer-Singleton, Ph.D.
Dr. Farer-Singleton has been the Chief University Psychologist at UHS since 1994. She received her undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College and her master's and doctoral degrees in psychology from Kent State University. She completed two American Psychological Association-approved internships at the Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Fallsview Psychiatric Hospital. Her professional specialties include anxiety and depression, couples/relationship/family therapy, academic performance issues and parenting issues. At KSU, Dr. Farer-Singleton has also served as a part-time Assistant Professor, providing clinical supervision for the Department of Psychology's graduate students.
Carrie Berta, Psy.D.
Dr. Berta joined University Psychological Services in 2010. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Boston University and obtained a doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Berta completed an American Psychological Association-approved internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University's Counseling and Psychological Services. Her professional specialties include relationship concerns, LGBTQ issues, identity development and life transitions.
Jayita Datta, Psy.D.
Dr. Datta joined University Psychological Services in 2010. She received bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology from the University of Delhi, India. Dr. Datta holds a Doctorate in Psychology from Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology. Her Post-Doctoral Fellowship was completed at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst's Counseling and Assessment Services. Dr. Datta is fluent in 3 languages (English, Hindi and Bengali). Her areas of specialty are anger, anxiety, mood, academic stress, ADHD/LD, relationship/couples/family therapy, identity development, transitions issues, acculturation, and cultural identity.
Douglas Muccio, Ph.D.
Dr. Muccio joined University Psychological Services in 2008 as a counseling psychologist and sport psychologist. He received his master's degree in sport psychology from Kent State University and his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Tennessee.
John S. Schell, Ph.D.
Dr. Schell is the Senior Psychologist at UHS and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses. He completed his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and received his master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology form Kent State University. He did an internship at Yale University's School of Medicine/Yale-New Haven Hospital and a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University's Department of University Health. Dr. Schell's clinical specialties include depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, and relationship therapy.
Todd Francis, P.T.
Todd is licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board as a physical therapist. A graduate of Ohio University, Todd has provided physical therapy services at UHS for 7 years. He also practices at a local private practice and sports medicine clinic. When not working with patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, camping, boating and downhill skiing.
Linnea Ray, R.T.(R)(M)CDT
Linnea has been a Radiologic Technologist at UHS since 1988. She is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in both radiology and mammography and is certified in bone densitometry by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. Linnea enjoys reading, spending time with her grandchildren and riding in her Mustang convertible.
