The School of Biomedical Sciences was founded in 1987 to provide graduate training in five biomedical science disciplines: Biological Anthropology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Neurosciences, Pharmacology and Physiology.
The scientists making up the School's graduate faculty are primarily drawn from various departments at Kent State University, the Northeast Ohio Medical University and the Lerner Research Institute of the Cleveland Clinic.
Financial assistance is available and the school offers competitive stipends, tuition remission and subsidized health insurance.
Applications for Fall 2016 are now closed. No new applications will be accepted.
Applications for Fall 2017 are due by:
- Jan. 1 - Domestic applicants
- Dec. 15 - International applicants
- No applications are accepted to begin in the spring or summer semesters
