Curriculum and Instruction (M.ED)

The Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction provides a wide range of graduate study opportunities in progressive, research-based curriculum and teaching practices. The program prepares educators for continuing professional development, education in a multicultural society and leadership for curriculum reform and renewal. The Curriculum and Teaching Studies and Mathematics Education concentrations are the only concentrations offered online.

Educational Technology (M.ED.)

The Master of Education degree in Educational Technology prepares students to design, develop and use a variety of technologies in school classrooms, in training facilities or in other educational settings. Students gain core educational technology knowledge and skills and then specialize in an area within the field. The program's Online and Blended Learning Certificate is also offered online. The Computer Technology Endorsement is also offered as a concentration of the M.Ed. or as a non-degree program.

Educational Psychology (M.ED)

The Master of Education degree in Educational Psychology provides advanced study for students interested in the application of psychological principles to learning and instruction. It encompasses a variety of different disciplines, including cognitive psychology, human development and learning theory. Students are exposed to the latest research findings regarding how people learn most effectively and efficiently.

Evaluation and Measurement (M.ED.)

The Master of Education degree in Evaluation and Measurement develops educators and specialists in the areas of assessment, measurement, research design and program evaluation. The program serves teachers and administrators seeking applied measurement, research and evaluation skills for use in schools (pre-kindergarten to grade 12) and in higher education. The program also serves professionals seeking careers in the areas of evaluation, research and psychometrics.

Interprofessional Leadership (Ed.D.)

The Doctor of Education degree in Interprofessional Studies allows for the study of leadership from an interprofessional perspective that is framed around questions of equity, ethics, and social justice to bring about solutions to complex problems of practice. The program prepares leaders who can construct and apply knowledge to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals, families, organizations, and communities.

Special Education (M.ED.)

The Master of Education degree in Special Education provides students with advanced understanding of contemporary research and practice issues in special education. The General Special Education concentration is the only concentration offered online and provides a broad focus on special education across all ages and types of student needs. The program's Autism Spectrum Disorder graduate certificate and the Behavioral Intervention Specialist graduate certificate are also offered fully online.
