Athletic Training Accreditation


Kent State University’s Athletic Training program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) through the 2027-2028 academic year.

CAATE is an accrediting body that accredits professional, post-professional, and post-professional residency athletic training programs. Here at Kent State, CAATE accredits the Athletic Training program on a ten-year (maximum) cycle.
