Exercise Science Accreditation


Kent State University’s Exercise Science program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) until 2020; it is also recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

About NSCA

NSCA LogoNSCA recognizes Kent State’s Exercise Science program through its Education Recognition Program (ERP). Kent State’s distinction as an ERP university means its bachelor's degree (with strength and conditioning emphasis) meets NSCA’s recommended educational guidelines. ERP recognition is renewable on a three-year cycle.
