Two New Philadelphia Wrestlers Sign Letters of Intent

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of two New Philadelphia wrestlers to their wrestling team. On March 24, Blake Bollon and Cullen Brogan signed National Letters of Intent to wrestle for the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles.

Bollon was a four-year letterman for the Quakers, a recent state qualifier and finished second in the East Central Ohio League (ECOL), while Brogan earned three wrestling letters, was a district qualified this season, finished second in the ECOL and served at team captain for NPHS.

“It’s exciting to have these two exceptional young men commit to our campus and be wrestling pioneers for our campus,” said Dave Schlarb, wrestling coach at Kent State Tuscarawas. “They have had storied athletic careers at New Philadelphia and I fully expect their hard work ethic and abilities to lead us in the wrestling room and on the competition mat. They are fine athletes and even better persons and will represent the university well.”

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
