Speaking from experience as the head of one of our region's top informal science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education providers, Great Lakes Science Center President Dr. Kirsten Ellenbogen will share her vision of what smart communities are doing to prepare for the rising need for skilled workforce.
With the growth of the workforce crucial to economic growth, you don't have to be in education or work for an economic development organization to play a role in the growth of the workforce in any community.
