Disc Golf | Kent State University

Recreational Services offers an 18-hole championship caliber disc golf course.

This course is free and open to the community, students and staff. Discs are also free to rent in the Pro Shop.

WHAT IS DISC GOLF?

Disc golf is played like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, players use a Frisbee. The object is to complete each hole in the fewest number of strokes/throws. Interested in learning more about disc golf? Review the official Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) rules.

Who can play Disc golf?

Disc golf is a leisure activity for people of all ages and abilities.

Where is the course located?

The course begins outside the main entrance of the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC), loops around various areas of the Recreation Corridor and ends back at the SRWC.

LEARN TO PLAY DISC GOLF CLINIC (FACULTY/STAFF)

This clinic will provide information and skills on how to play Disc Golf on Kent State University's 18-hole Disc Golf course at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. The rules of Disc Golf will be discussed and an orientation for the course will occur first. Discs will be available for free rental and approximately three holes will be played to work on long distance, mid-range and putting shots.
