Off-Campus Housing
Kent State Tuscarawas is a regional campus and does not have on-campus housing units. Our students commute to and from campus.
Our campus is located in Tuscarawas County, a beautiful, predominantly rural, area in East Central Ohio. As of the 2020 census, our population was 93, 263 and our county contains a diverse population of Appalachian and immigrant communities, as well as Amish and Mennonite families.
There are many factors to consider when searching for housing. Things such as commuting distance, roommates, and cost should all be considered as you begin your search. As Tuscarawas does not hold any metropolitan areas, larger apartment complexes can be hard to find in the local vicinity, and predominately privately rented homes and apartments are what can be found around campus.
One option when beginning your search is to look into local realtors who also manage properties in the area.
