About Me
As someone born and raised right outside of Cleveland, I’ve always loved Northeast Ohio. I’m a Kent State alum, graduating with a bachelor’s in Sociology and a minor in Philosophy.
I’ve worked in multiple fields since graduation, primarily in special education, but jumped at the chance to pursue a career at the university where I studied for 4 amazing years. I’m passionate about what our university can do for students, and I’m excited to be a starting guide in helping students reach their dreams.
My advice for prospective students is to really take advantage of our KSU Kickoff club fair and to join a student organization early on. It’s so important for your mental health to build community, and we have so many different student groups for any interest you could have.
What I Love About Kent State
As a first generation student myself, I love the amount of support we give to our students. Whether it's a desire for research and internship opportunities, or help needed from one of our peer success mentors, mental health specialists or CARES Center team members, we have someone to help you achieve success at Kent State.
Fun Facts
• I am a huge Resident Evil and Silent Hill fan!
• I like to stay educated by doing deep dives on historical topics. My most recent research was on 20th century Irish history.
