Salma Benhaida

About Me

I was born in Casablanca, Morocco, and came to Ohio as an international student! Having been an international student myself – I earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Ohio – I have developed a passion for helping international students and their families find their home away from home at Kent State University!

Moving to the U.S. to pursue higher education has enabled me to understand some of the challenges international students face on their study-abroad journey. My goal is to make the application and admission process as stress-free and welcoming as possible!

In addition to English, I am fluent in Arabic and French.
