Vera (Cen) Li

About Me

I have been working at Kent State China Center since 2016 and I really love it. With my previous college major in English teaching and education, I am very passionate about international education as always.

I love communicating with Chinese students and parents and helping them with counseling service whenever they need. The greatest reward I have from this job is to get the feedback that the students I helped have achieved success either in their academic performance or in their career development.

I am a native Mandarin speaker and am also fluent in English.

What I Love About Kent State

It’s a very safe and friendly community with a diverse student body where you will have a lot of fun activities to participate in. The campus is very beautiful and it’s truly a second home for all international students.

Fun Facts

I am a big fan of Agatha Christie and I have read quite a number of her detective novels and I am so fascinated about her stories. My goal is to read all her works in the following years.
