Zeeshan Ansari

About Me

I come from Jamshedpur, India, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. My greatest strength lies in my people skills, which I have always possessed. Before joining the admissions team at Kent State University, I worked as a student counsellor and later transitioned to an EdTech organization. In my previous role, I processed applications. I streamlined the process as US experts, eventually being promoted to a team lead position where I managed a team responsible for processing applications for the USA universities.

What I Love About Kent State

I love Kent State University because it offers an excellent academic experience with a wide variety of majors and concentrations, as well as a vibrant campus life. The university is also located in a beautiful part of Ohio, with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. Additionally, the faculty and staff are very supportive and encouraging, making it a great place to learn and grow.

Fun Facts

Cooking is my therapy, and I enjoy it tremendously. I try to explore at least one new place every year because I love the thrill of discovering the unknown. I like capturing nature, collecting different type of stones, hanging with friends. Over time, I have come to realize that reading books helps keep me grounded.
