Lindsey Vlasic

Lindsey Vlasic currently serves as assistant director of communications in the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement (DPAE). In this role, she coordinates and implements comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for alumni and donor audiences to promote DPAE and the university among key constituencies.  

She began working at Kent State University in 2019 as a student supporting the DPAE communications team. She graduated from Kent State in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and began working for the division full-time in June 2022 as the social media coordinator. In 2025, she graduated from Kent State with a Master of Science in Emerging Media and Technology.

Lindsey's favorite thing about Kent State is the wonderful people she got to know while getting her degree and the ones who she continues to do meaningful work with every day...and the black squirrels!
