Kathryn Kudravi

Kathy Kudravi, '87, Phoenix, AZ, was named the 2024 Ann Miller Service Award winner by the Association for Women in Sports Media (AWSM). The award is presented annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the organization.

Kudravi joined AWSM in 1992 and served as secretary/treasurer for eight years, overseeing the group's finances and distribution of the printed directory and newsletter and processed memberships. She also served as chair of the executive committee, mentoring and advising two presidents while creating partnerships with other media groups. She is a past Miller Award finalist.

Kudravi worked in sports media for 32 years before joining the University of Arizona Health Sciences Office of Communications in 2021 as executive director, campus communications and publications.

Founded in 1987, AWSM is a 501c3 organization whose membership supports the advancement and growth of women in sports media.
