Thirteen-year old Jerome Dublin High School freshman Nilla Rajan is headed to Brain Bee nationals. Nilla competed against high school students from Ohio to win the title of 2020 Regional Brain Bee Champion at the Regional Brain Bee held at NEOMED on January 25. The Brain Bee is a worldwide neuroscience competition which encourages high school students to learn about the brain and inspires them to pursue neuroscience careers to ultimately find cures for brain disease. The Kent State University Brain Health Research Institute is a co-sponsor of both the Regional and National Brain Bee competitions. The National Brain Bee will occur at NEOMED on March 27-29, with the opening reception at the Kent State Center for Architecture and Environmental Design.
