Tuition Refund Appeal Application

Request for FlashCash 
This application is to request FlashCash. FlashCash will allow you to make purchases both on and off campus wherever the FLASHcard is accepted.  Students may request FlashCash two weeks prior to the start of the term/session in which they are enrolled. Please allow 2 business days to process your request.

One-Time Late Non-Payment Fee Removal Request
This application is to request a removal of a late non-payment fee. One-time late non-payment fee removal may be requested after meeting the following requirements:

  • You have not had a late non-payment fee removed previously.
  • Full balance less the late non-payment fee must be paid in full before the request is made.
  • You have completed the Authorization of Title IV Aid. This step can be completed and or checked in FlashLine by selecting Student/Dashboard/Finances/Financial Aid/ Title IV Aid Authorization

Please allow 2 business days to process your request.

Employer Tuition Reimbursement Agreement (PDF) 
The signed request must be returned to the One Stop along with a copy of the company's written tuition reimbursement policy. Deferment is based on employer reimbursement rate.

Rescind Authorization of TIV (PDF)
The original signed form must be returned to the One Stop IN PERSON.

Short Term Loan Application (PDF) 
Applications are accepted two weeks prior to the start and thirty days prior to the end of the term you are enrolled. The original signed application must be submitted to the One Stop via the Submit Documents link, or submitted IN PERSON to the One Stop, for final approval. Please read the Terms and Requirements section for criteria and limitations.  Please allow 2 business days to process your request.

Tuition Guarantee Rate Plan (TGRP)-Extension

Students who do not complete their undergraduate degree requirements within their cohort period will automatically be placed into the oldest unexpired Tuition Guarantee Rate plan TGRP for one additional academic year.  However, students can request an extension of their TGRP if they are unable to complete their degree in four years under certain conditions.  A request for an extension of a TGRP must be made no later than one semester prior to the expiration of the student's TGRP plan.  Please email bursar@kent.edu for more information about an extension of your TGRP

Stop Payment Form (PDF)
The original signed request must be returned to the One Stop. If the check is from a PLUS (parent loan) refund the request must be signed by the person to whom the check is made payable. Student Identification Information Request
To update your social security number (SSN) or individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN) in our system for the creating/processing of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 1098-T form.

1098-T Rescindment (PDF)
Request to withdraw consent for receiving the 1098-T form electronically.  Must be received for the upcoming tax year by the second week of December.
