Minor in Chemistry

Kent State University’s Minor in Chemistry provides students with a solid foundation in chemical principles while complementing their major field of study. The program covers essential topics in general, organic, and analytical chemistry, along with laboratory experience that helps develop practical skills in experimental techniques. This minor is ideal for students pursuing degrees in biology, environmental science, health-related fields, or other disciplines where a strong understanding of chemistry enhances their knowledge and career prospects. Graduates with a minor in chemistry are better prepared for roles in scientific, medical, and technical industries.
