    Vaccine Phases»

    The vaccine requirement will be phased in over the 2021 Fall Semester to give everyone in our community the opportunity to get vaccinated, particularly those who were hesitant and waiting for full FDA approval before getting a shot.

    Vaccine Access »

    University Health Services is offering COVID-19 Vaccines at the DeWeese Health Center on the Kent Campus. Vaccines also are available at a variety of locations statewide by registering through Ohio’s vaccine portal.

    Please remember it is important to report your vaccination status, particularly as we move through Kent State's vaccine phases as they relate to the university's vaccine requirement during the fall 2021 semester.

    Vaccine Exemptions »

    The COVID-19 vaccine requirement is effective as of Dec. 20, 2021. Exemptions to will be granted for medical, religious or personal conscience reasons.

    Vaccine Boosters »

    The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has approved COVID-19 vaccine booster shots for those who have received Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
