Kent State University's Minor in Environmental Geology offers students a focused study of the Earth's processes and how they impact the environment. This program explores key topics such as natural hazards, groundwater contamination, and resource management, equipping students with the skills to analyze environmental issues through a geological lens. Designed to complement a variety of majors, the minor prepares students to apply their knowledge to real-world environmental challenges, fostering a deeper understanding of the interactions between human activity and Earth’s systems.
