Former EHHS Students Recognized with Kent State Alumni Awards

Kent State's Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement recognized three former EHHS students in it's 2024 Alumni Awards. Congratulations to Erica Dovin, '21, Vanessa Dianna Johnson, '79, '81, and Bea Shaheen McPherson, ’43, for being one of the 2024 recipients.

Erica Dovin

Dovin, the recipient of the Outstanding New Professional Award, secured a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science. 

 

 

 

Dianna Vanessa Johnson

Johnson is the winner of the Professional Achievement Award. She received a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel Services.

 

 

 

Bea Shaheen McPherson

Distinguished Alumni McPherson received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and minor in geography.

 

Kent State University recognizes and honors Golden Flashes who, through leadership, character and hard work, have made exceptional contributions in their chosen profession, in their communities and at Kent State. Sponsored by the Kent State Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are highly prestigious honors presented each year to outstanding alumni, staff and students.
