Giving to the CDC
Fundraising is a crucial part of advancement at the CDC, as our fee-driven program cannot satisfy all of our needs. Through your giving, we are able to raise funds essential to our daily operations, professional development, and diversity initiatives. Please consider giving to the following funds:
The Robin McManus Scholarship Fund
Robin was a kind, compassionate, and skilled teacher and student supervisor who cared deeply about young children, their families, and pre-service teachers. This fund helps the CDC to provide student scholarships, so that more children in our community can access the enriching experience that is a CDC education.
The Outdoor Learning Lab Enhancement Fund
Our Outdoor Learning Laboratory is 85% funded. This fund supports our ongoing efforts to fully equip this outdoor learning space.
CDC General Fund
The general fund helps to support the professional development of our teachers, is used for construction projects, and is directed toward general operations of the school when needed. You may specifically earmark your contribution for professional development, construction, or general operations, or allow your donation to be used where it is most needed.
In addition to online donating using the links above, donations can also be sent directly to the Kent State University Foundation at P.O. Box 5190, Kent, Ohio 44242. Please clearly indicate which of the Child Development Center Funds you would like your contribution to support. Thank you!
