Joseph Richardson
Biography
Manages all internal and external marketing and communications for the College of Education, Health and Human Services.
Before that, Joe was responsible for marketing and communications for the Division of Human Resources, including the HR website. Distributed weekly e-newsletter, HR Faculty/Staff News Now and distributed HR-related news and events to all faculty and staff across the eight campus system.
Born in Indianapolis and relocated to New York's Upper West Side after college and worked for Fox Television, the City of New York, Parks & Recreation, and the World University Games in Buffalo, NY. Moved to Northeast Ohio and received a master's degree from Kent State's College of Communication and Information with a major in media management.
Married to Brenda Richardson (who works in Kent State Culinary Services). Daughter, Brianna, holds a B.A in economics from Kent State, and an MA in economics from Temple University. She works as a research scientist for Momentive, parent company of Survey Monkey.
