Hannah Harnar, Ed.D., AT
Biography
Hannah Harnar joined Kent State University in August 2018 and serves as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Program. Prior to returning to KSU, Ms. Harnar served as the clinical education coordinator for West Liberty University for five years where she collaborated to lead the program to full CAATE accreditation. She also served as a preceptor and clinical instructor during her time there. In the past decade, Ms. Harnar has been actively involved in professional leadership through her roles as WVATA Public Relations Chair and NATA District III Young Professional Committee Liaison. Her professional research interests include achievement goal orientation and Grit in athletic training students. In addition to her professional contributions, Ms. Harnar has extensive clinical experience in collegiate athletics including women’s soccer, women’s basketball, football, and tennis.
Ms. Harnar earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Mount Union and Master of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from Kent State University. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Education Program at the University of Findlay.
