Kimberly Steele
Biography
Kimberly is the Academic Program Director for the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services Technology and the Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies at Kent State University-Columbiana County Campuses. With over thirty years of human services/counseling experience, Kimberly holds Ohio licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with Supervision Endorsement and Licensed Social Worker. Having begun her career with the honor of being in the first graduating class of the KSU-Salem Human Services program that she now directs. Kimberly also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University and a Master of Science in Education, with dual concentrations in both Community Counseling and Higher Education Student Services Administration from Youngstown State University. Kimberly is currently entering the dissertation phase of her doctoral studies in Cultural Foundations of Education. Kimberly serves on numerous campus and community boards, steering committees and training teams covering a variety of topics.
