Biography
Laura received her B.A. in Psychology from Ohio Dominican College in 1992. She completed her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University in 2004. Her higher education experience at Kent State involves academic advising for both University College and the College of Education, Health and Human Services. She also spent 3 1/2 years as an Accessibility Specialist for Student Accessibility Services.
Laura's advising philosophy is that advising should be a collaborative process between the student and advisor. Her primary goal is to make sure students have all the information needed to make decisions about their academic career. Laura would like to be mentor to students and support them throughout their college experience.
