Are tickets still available for the Performing Arts production of Oklahoma?

Yes, a limited supply of tickets are still available for faculty and staff to attend a matinee performance of Oklahoma on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. at Porthouse Theatre, 3143 O'Neil Rd., in Cuyahoga Falls on the grounds of Blossom Music Center.

Discount tickets are on sale now for $22 each. Limit is four tickets per employee. The deadline to reserve tickets is Friday, Aug. 3.

Set in Western Indian territory just after the turn of the 20th century, the spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the backdrop for the love story between Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a beautiful farm girl.

A complimentary lunch will be served from noon-1:45 p.m. in the Thornbury Pavilion.

The box office is open weekdays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, checks and cash are accepted.
