JOB DESCRIPTION:
I work as part of the Institutional Advancement team to implement a major gift fundraising program designed to align donor passions with the philanthropic needs of the College of Education, Health and Human Services and Kent State University.

LIKES MOST ABOUT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:
I earned two degrees from Kent State University so it feels like home to me. I first stepped foot on this campus when I was 17 and instantly knew it was where I was meant to be. Even with all the change and growth, it still feels like home. So I guess what I like most is the blend of familiar memories and future opportunities.
ATTRACTION TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY AS AN EMPLOYER:
The opportunity to give back to a place that has given me so much is exciting. I am a product of Kent State University and proud of it. We have come so far, grown so much and strengthened our programs, outreach and national presence. It’s a great time to be at Kent State University, and I am thrilled to be part of its future.
RESIDES IN:
Aurora, Ohio
HOMETOWN:
Centerville, Ohio
EDUCATION:
B.F.A. Communication Studies, Kent State University; M.Ed. Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel, Kent State University
HOBBIES:
My hobbies tend to fall in line with whatever my kids are into: blowing bubbles, craft projects, playing outside regardless of weather and pretending to be a superhero. When I do slip off on my own, I enjoy yoga, cycling and hiking, and someday I hope to get traveling back in rotation.
