Kent State University has announced that three candidates for dean and chief administrative officer of Kent State University's Columbiana County Campuses (Kent State University at East Liverpool and Kent State University at Salem) will be on campus over the next several weeks. Each candidate will hold a public presentation to discuss the following:
- Brief biography/background
- Challenges facing higher education
- Opportunities and challenges of a Regional Campus
- Experience/examples of interacting with the broader community
- Anything else the candidate would like to mention on how he will approach work specifically as dean and chief administrative officer of Kent State University's Columbiana County campuses
Nathan Ritchey, vice president for Kent State System Integration, invites and encourages faculty and staff to attend the candidates’ public presentations. The finalists will present in-person at Kent State Salem, with presentations available via WebEx at Kent State East Liverpool, and accessible via telephone.
