Applications for the 2016-2017 Faculty Fellows program are now being accepted. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 8. For information regarding the application process, please visit www.kent.edu/ctl/faculty-fellows-application-process.
Kent State University’s Center for Teaching and Learning Faculty Fellows Program is designed to give individual faculty members the opportunity to serve in a leadership role in a professional development area of their choosing. Such areas may include online teaching and learning, researching teaching and learning, effective techniques for large lecture classes, adjunct faculty support, peer review, teaching strategies for difficult courses and mid-career faculty development for Regional Campus faculty.
The expectation of the program is that the selected fellows will serve as mentors/support for other faculty within their chosen topic, create a universitywide workshop on their topic, create a deliverable (article, white paper, learning module) for future faculty use and participate, as much as possible, in the broader workings of the center. Visit www.kent.edu/ctl/faculty-fellows to learn more about the program.
