Meditation helps to quiet the mind and release us from worry. For many people, though, the goal of clearing the mind of thoughts seems impossible to attain.
On Wednesday, April 18, at noon, visit Heer Hall on the Kent Campus and learn easy methods that focus on this process rather than the goal. You will learn meditation exercises that help the body and mind to become relaxed and centered. You also will learn how the relaxation and peace of mind attained through meditation can help you gain a more positive outlook on life.
The presenter will be Judith Eugene from IMPACT Solutions. Ms. Eugene will lead attendees through a short meditation demonstration at the end of class. A light lunch will be provided to all registered attendees. Space is limited.
This session is offered to all full- and part-time employees of the university. For full-time, benefits eligible employees participating in the Wellness Your Way reward program, this session is worth 10 Tier 2 points.
