Kent State University’s Career Exploration and Development is excited to announce that Handshake will replace Flash @ Work as the new career management platform, which offers new features that will enable students to: 
- Apply for on-campus student employment positions.
- Access personalized career and internship recommendations based on major and interests.
- Register for career fairs and other events.
- Manage on-campus interviews and connect with top companies.
Current and future student employee supervisors will now use Handshake to post student employment positions at the university, which is the only major change in the student hiring process. Supervisors will continue to complete the online Offer of Student Employment Position form for first-time student employees, the hiring form through Campus Works for all student employees, etc.
Current supervisors of student employees have received an email with information regarding the switch to Handshake. Look for additional information about Handshake in the coming days. The transition to Handshake is scheduled to be completed before the end of June.
