At Kent State University, we value our employees as our most valued resource. In order to remain competitive and encourage retention, we are pleased to announce a new and innovative way to provide salary increases for the non-represented classified and unclassified employees.
The tiered structure is outlined in the table below:
Salary Tier |
Salary Increase |
---|---|
Below $80,000 |
2% |
$80,000-$110,000 |
1.5% |
Above $110,000 |
1% |
This approach will also help Kent State remain competitive and retain one of its most valued resources: our people. The salary increase is just one part of employees’ overall compensation package, which also includes university contributions for healthcare benefits, retirement plans, tuition waiver, and vacation and sick leave.
More specific details on the salary increase, including eligibility, are listed below. Questions should be directed to the Compensation office at 330-672-8325 or compensation@kent.edu.
