Kent State University Libraries is introducing three widely used software tools that are used for the collection, organization, citing, use and sharing of information resources that support research. A partnership with Information Services is offering workshops to introduce the three major programs: Zotero, Mendeley and Endnote programs.
The research software RefWorks no longer will be offered by University Libraries after the 2016-17 academic year. Content now stored in RefWorks must be migrated soon in order to be retained. RefWorks users are encouraged to register for a free workshop to learn about simple-to-use options.
In the workshops, attendees will learn how to create a database of articles/references, cite resources while writing, work with/annotate PDFs, collaborate with others and more.
Visit https://training.kent.edu to choose from the following sessions:
- Tuesday, April 4, from 10:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 18, from 5:15-6:30 p.m.
Workshops will be held in the Technology Workshop Training Center located in University Library, Room 152. Additional workshops may be added if sessions are filled. Walk-in clinics also may be scheduled.
