Video: Archaeologist Metin Eren Examines the Past Using Modern Technology

Metin Eren, Ph.D, director of archaeology and an assistant professor of anthropology in Kent State University’s College of Arts and Sciences, is using an experimental approach to dig deeper into Ohio's history by recreating ancient artifacts and weaponry with clay to better understand how humans lived thousands of years ago. His Lowry Hall lab features a ballistics range, stone-weapon creation and pottery-making.
