Shannon Driscoll
Biography
Shannon Driscoll is the Faculty Ombudsperson at Kent State University. She holds a J.D. from the University of New Mexico and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Dayton. Shannon was born and raised in Ohio and is excited to be back after several years living in the Southwest.
Shannon began her career in conflict work as a volunteer mediator in 2007. Since then, she has worked as a mediator, facilitator, trainer, and program manager in the non-profit and public sectors. Shannon is currently pursuing an M.S. in Urban Studies: Diversity Leadership and Change Management at Cleveland State University.
Shannon is passionate about serving Kent state faculty in her role as Faculty Ombudsperson. Her goal is to co-create safe space in which faculty can feel heard, make wise decisions, and bring their best selves to their situation.
