Vanessa Courie

For over 25 years Vanessa Courie has held various roles across the University. Since 2009, she has served the Office of the Provost in Faculty Affairs, providing support to faculty, administrators, and staff. Among her many duties, Vanessa is instrumental in facilitating the faculty action processes (including reappointment, tenure, promotion, and NTT review) by ensuring the integrity of University policies and procedures are maintained as well as managing the processes with the available technology.

Mrs. Courie assists the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs in managing multiple assignments as well as working in conjunction with the provost's and president's offices on special projects that relate to faculty. She is often the initial contact for questions from faculty, administrators, and staff.
