Kent State Fashion Alumna Interviewed in ‘Glossy’ Article Discussing Black Women in Fashion Media

Jenae Green industry headshotSince graduating in 2013 from the Kent State University School of Fashion, Jenae Green has worked for some of the most prominent names in the fashion industry. In her interview with Glossy magazine, Green discusses her experience as a Black woman in Fashion Media. 

 

In addition to her impressive experience in the industry, which included positions at Vogue, Calvin Klein, Marie Claire and Bergdorf Goodman, she has also managed to keep ties to her alma mater, playing an active role in the School of Fashion. Green currently serves on the school’s advisory board and led the award-winning diversity panel series at the school’s New York City campus. She also continues to mentor Kent State fashion students through the school’s alumni network, providing students guidance and leadership as they navigate their way into the fashion industry.
