Kelvin Berry
Biography
Kelvin Berry joined Kent State University in June of 2013. He currently serves as Director for Economic Development and Community Engagement in the Office of Government and Community Relations.
Mr. Berry is one of the key points of contact and acts as facilitator for strategic large-scale community engagement partnerships and economic development initiatives for the Kent Campus. Mr. Berry is a board member representing the university on the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce and the Portage Development Board that support local and county economic development initiatives. He also serves as a member of the Kent Interfaith Alliance, an association of 15 faith-based institutions, and is the current chair of the Akron Urban Design and Preservation Commission.
Mr. Berry received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University (Ohio) and completed a strategic executive management program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He also completed master's-level coursework in Practical Theology at the Ashland Theological Seminary of Ashland University (Ohio).
