About Me
I am a native of Canton, Ohio, and am happy to call northeast Ohio “home.” I hold a BS in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA from The University of Akron, in addition to an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University. My interests have always been diverse, and I have previously held positions in outside sales, management, and hospitality/event planning, but my calling is international higher education. The opportunities I had to study and travel abroad throughout my formal education were tremendously impactful and continue to resonate with me as I advise students.
What I Love About Kent State
I love the energy and excitement each new academic year brings! KSU offers the entire campus community an abundance of resources and opportunities for personal, professional, and academic growth in addition to overall well-being. I appreciate the many ways in which KSU has a global identity in Kent and around the world.
Fun Facts
I studied abroad right out of high school (France), twice during undergrad (Italy/Greece and India/Nepal), and once with each of my graduate programs (South Korea and Italy). I have been both bungee jumping and skydiving (which are considered high risk activities and are not covered by our university-sponsored medical insurance plan) and have seen the summit of Mount Everest (from an airplane)!
