Spring Semester Move-in Information

Please revisit this webpage prior to move-in week to ensure that you have the most recent information.

Returning students (those who lived on campus during the fall semester) can return to residence halls on Sunday, January 16 at 8 am. When returning to campus, students will be able to go directly to their rooms as there will not be a formal check-in process.

New students who did not live on campus during the fall semester can begin moving into the residence halls on Saturday, January 15 at 8am. Students will be emailed a link to an on-line check-in form.

Consistent with the Flashes Safety Principles, face coverings are required for every individual while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Area desks have disposable masks and some rapid test kits if needed.

Current spring COVID-19 testing requirements may be found here.

Engage in conversation with your move-in party if any members are at a higher risk for serious illness from COVID-19. By the very nature of move-in day, there will be more people than normal in and around each residence hall.

If you are feeling ill or have a temperature (100.4°F/38°C), you should delay your arrival until a later date when you are feeling better or after consulting with a medical professional.

Residence hall keycard access requires a FLASHcard (student ID card). The FLASHcard Office needs you to submit your photo online so they can prepare your ID. Instructions and photo requirements are available here. Taking this step as soon as possible will speed up your move-in day experience. For questions, contact flashcard@card.edu.

For your safety and those around you, we ask that you stick to the schedule to allow for a smoother move-in experience.
