Significant milestones are recognized every five years of continuous employment. Anniversaries are listed on this page alphabetically and by years of service, and are posted after the close of each month.

About the Staff Significant Anniversary Program
The university recognizes staff employees for their service at intervals that are considered to be milestones in an employee’s career. These milestones include one year and then every five-year milestone thereafter. This program is intended to congratulate and formally recognize staff employees across the university. It is a program that has different types of rewards and formalities depending upon the classification and status of the employee.
Eligibility
Classified and unclassified staff employees who have dedicated continuous years of service to Kent State University are eligible. Milestones are recognized every five years of continuous employment.
Exclusions include staff employees with Rehired-Retiree status, staff employees with Tenure status, and service as a student employee.
