Ron Smith

Ron’s role focuses on the design and facilitation of learning opportunities for Kent State University faculty and staff. Through a blend of instructor-led workshops, webinars and e-learning, Ron strives to enrich faculty and staff knowledge in the areas of leadership, emotional intelligence, communication, behavioral interviewing and coaching. His additional responsibilities include departmental marketing and webinar development. Blending humor with stories from his 20 years of HR experience, he brings unique perspectives from the healthcare, manufacturing and higher education industries.
