With more than 40,000 members and 200 clubs, the national American Advertising Federation organization is the oldest national advertising industry trade association in the United States. Founded in 1945, the American Advertising Federation - Akron (AAF-Akron) encourages excellence in advertising and holds a highliy respected annual awards show to recognize the creative spirit in the art of advertising. The Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement competes in AAF-Akron's annual ADDY Awards each year, most recently winning multiple awards in 2022 and 2023.
