WHAT IS THE AT&T CLASSROOM?

As a huge component within Kent State University’s Research Center for Educational Technology, the AT&T Classroom provides a unique K-12 research laboratory setting to study the potential of educational technologies and also serves as a K-12 outreach and professional development center for the region.

The AT&T classroom was founded in 1998 through the generous support of the AT&T Foundation, the Ohio Board of Regents, and the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. Since its opening, the classroom has hosted over 300 K-12 classes from across the Northeast Ohio region.

As a K-12+ classroom, the AT&T classroom is able to provide teachers and their students direct access to a wide range of educational technologies including Chromebooks, iPads, 3D printers, 360 cameras, circuits, robotics, and many more tools for Augmented & Virtual Reality
