Program Description

The Early Intervention graduate certificate is primarily intended for individuals interested in working with young children ages 0-3 who have or are at risk for developmental delays and disabilities and their families across a variety of settings. Early Intervention is a federally funded mandated service (Part C/IDEA) for young children and their families. Funding is available for the interdisciplinary training program designed for graduate students in Speech Pathology/Audiology or Special Education.

The program is designed for individuals with existing bachelor's degrees in special education and related fields (e.g., teacher licensure, speech-language pathology, human development) but all interested individuals are encouraged to apply.
