Institute for Bibliography and Editing (IBE)
The Institute for Bibliography and Editing supports collected editions of major figures—including The Taft Papers, the Cambridge Edition of Joseph Conrad, and the Complete Works of Robert Browning—as well as more limited editorial, textual, and bibliographical research on Beethoven, Hemingway, Bradstreet, medieval alliterative poetry, and Tudor historians and publishers.
Research Methods
In this advanced research in the humanities, the institute applies high-end computer systems to the entire research process, employing sophisticated computerized data entry and text processing, text comparison and editing.
