We offer advanced study in the teaching of preK-12 literacy.

Our Literacy Education program prepares educators to teach students preK-12 in general education and reading specific instructional situations. We focus on students who progress typically and those who are struggling to read.

Reading Endorsement Preparation - non-degree

Certifies holder to teach reading in K-12 settings.

Applicants to this program must already hold a valid teaching certificate or license, and must have had 9 to 12 hours in reading coursework prior to beginning any endorsement coursework.

Reading Specialization - M.Ed.

We offer an M.Ed. (Master of Education) in K-12 Reading/Literacy Specialization. ​The K-12 Reading Endorsement is earned within your Master's Degree.
