The program emphasizes reading and translating classical texts, offering insights into Roman literature, philosophy, and the broader influence of Latin on Western civilization. This minor complements a wide range of majors, enhancing critical thinking and analytical skills, and is particularly beneficial for students pursuing careers in education, history, archaeology, and linguistics, as well as for those seeking a deeper understanding of classical heritage.
