About Franklin Advertising
Franklin Advertising is an on-campus organization for students pursuing a degree in advertising, marketing, visual design, or other related communications studies. A college chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the mission of Franklin Advertising is as follows.

The AAF provides students with opportunities to gain valuable insights into the worlds of advertising, to make connections with industry professionals, and to discover internship and job opportunities that will help propel your advertising career forward.
AAF's college chapter program offers many additional career development platforms and gives students the opportunity to belong to a professional organization of students who have a curiosity about the world of advertising and a passionate desire to join the industry. An AAF college chapter provides students with the opportunity to:

Share ideas with other students and professionals.

Network, visit advertising-related businesses and the professionals who work in the industry.

Participate in AAF -sponsored competitions and awards programs, including the Student American Advertising Awards and the Mosaic Student Impact Award

Access to Tools and Resources.

Build experience and receive professional advice from advertising industry professionals.
As an AAF Chapter, Franklin Advertising produces on-campus events for its’ members like, “Faces Behind the Brand” that showcases industry leaders and corporate executives and promote careers in advertising, communications, and marketing.

Membership
Membership to the club includes AAF annual membership, hands-on workshops, professional speakers, agency tours and other advertising-related events that further students' professional growth. Events and Professional Development Opportunities
Communications Connection
Annually, Franklin Advertising partners with PRSSA Kent to co-host an annual networking event for communications students. Attendees connect with industry professionals from companies and organizations in Northeast Ohio and beyond. Additionally, students develop their professional portfolio with professional headshots and resume reviews.
New York Advertising Week
Students involved in Franklin Advertising can join professionals from around the world at Advertising Week to share best practices in the advertising industry. The week-long event includes seminars, workshops, networking opportunities and nightly concerts, all of which give students a clear picture of the advertising, marketing and entertainment industries.
